JAPAN made Mid Century, Named "The Pearl Confetti", this pair of vintage fashion jewelry earrings features a round, multi-layered cluster design constructed on a silver-tone metal base. Each earring centers on a prominent, oversized white faux pearl cabochon with a textured, satin-finish coating. This large focal pearl is completely encircled by a lower outer tier of eleven smaller, alternating round faux pearls, creating a distinct two-tone contrast between bright silver-white and warm cream pearls. The entire assembly sits flush against the earlobe on a circular metal backing plate equipped with integrated mechanical clip-on closures. The pair remains in very good vintage condition with the mechanical clips operating with secure tension, showing only minor, age-appropriate surface scuffing on the pearl finishes and light storage wear on the silver-tone reverse plating.
